Turquoise Mountain work with a group of Saudi female artisans, developing craft markets and supporting individuals in providing artistic, technical and economic opportunities. It also aims to raise the profile of the Saudi handicraft heritage through high quality products and authentic design.

TFRC researcher Rebecca Hoyes was given the opportunity to work with the women's cooperative at Turquoise Mountain on projects encouraging traditional skills of embroidery and weaving.
