Digital Textile Design 2, Melanie Bowles
Melanie Bowles is launching the second edition of her book ‘Digital Textile Design’, published by Laurence King. In collaboration with Ceri Isaac, she has developed
a guide to everything a student and practitioner should know about digital printing and designing of textiles. The new edition looks at the most up-to-date developments in Adobe Creative Suite and new work on the digital landscape. Within her practice as designer and researcher and also as senior lecturer in Digital Textiles at Chelsea College Of Art & Design, she acknowledges how the technique has changed the possibilities in textiles to open up unlimited resources and a new visual language. The book also includes instructions and acts as a comprehensive guide to current best examples of digitally printed design.
